Appearance: Waen is a tall, broad, very upright fellow with good posture and strong shoulders. He stands head an shoulder above most folk and has all the appearance of a man given to hoisting heavy things. His expression is largely neutral but with a severity to it that doesn't shift much. He has the air of a man who would prefer to let others to their business but will put a very quick stop to things if it becomes his business.
History:
Waen is the son of Hick, a farmer near Greymeadow. He grew up raising cattle, mostly, and selling his father's animals or wares at various markets. He has, for many years, been the one in charge of delivering cattle to the people who buy them, no matter how far off they are, and so he has made quite a few connections with traders and merchants here and there.
Personality:
Waen is a generally stoic fellow who enjoys long silences, a cool summer breeze, and drinking if he can. He works very hard, is very efficient, and becomes frustrated when people waste his time. He is a large fellow and, as he has considerable success in it, is given to fist fighting. Despite his fondness for fighting, Waen is also very friendly, and will greet anyone he comes across. He will help anyone who asks for it, regardless of how he feels about them, and will stay firmly out of any business that is not thrust upon him. He is very fond of dogs and not very fond of children.
Abilities:
Tough Waen is very strong and very tough. He can take a beating that would knock a lesser man out and deliver a beating to match. Odds are very good that, wherever he is, Waen is probably the toughest fellow there.
Archery Waen is a good shot with a bow and a fair hand at tossing spears. He has no skill with a blade, beyond using a knife to butcher animals.
Good with Animals Waen is very good with animals, dogs especially. He is a very predictable fellow and thus, things don't spook around him easily.
